Something groooovy is coming to Newnham's gardens this June… 

Join us on 23rd June 2026 for ‘Newnfest’ and take a trip back to the Summer of Love. Inspired by Woodstock '69 and the hippie counterculture of the 1960s, Newnfest promises to be an afternoon dedicated to peace, love and music!

At Newnfest, the individuality and experimentation that defined the counterculture of the 1960s will meet the witty and rebellious nature of Newnham College in a thrilling collection of musical and non-musical entertainments that promise to be the highlight of your May Week. 

This year you can expect MORE of everything... a mind-bending array of sweet and savoury food, high quality drinks made with love, vibey tunes from the best musical talents in Cambridge, and an event which is one hour longer, giving you more time to enjoy everything Newnfest has to offer! 

Not only will your ticket give you access to the event of the summer, but £1 from each ticket sale will go to supporting our two charities: Cambridge Pink Week (a student lead initiative raising money for a range of breast cancer charities) and the Kite Trust (a Cambridgeshire-based charity supporting the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth).
